On March 25, 2017, the First Conference of Student Initiatives in Egyptian Universities was held, organized by Mansoura University in cooperation with the Association for Egypt, under the patronage of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

, Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Din El-Qenawy, President of the University in the presence of Mr. Dr. Ahmed Shaarawy, Governor of Daqahlia, Mr. Ashraf Abdel Basset, Vice President for Education and Students Affairs, Mr. Reda Abdel Salam, Former, doctor Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Media / Sherif Fouad. The opening was also attended by members of the House of Representatives from Dakahlia governorate, the governorates of the participating universities, and the deans and agents.

The conference was attended by 30 initiatives from 16 Egyptian universities: Cairo, Alexandria, Al Azhar, Banha, Ain Shams, Fayoum, Damietta, Menia, Helwan, Suez Canal, Sohag.
The fields of initiatives include health and environment, economics, culture and arts, social space, women and children, education, political and human rights, sports, media and networking, engineering and technology, Arab and African cooperation.
Prof. Mohamed El-Desouki pointed out the importance of holding this conference, which shows the spirit of competitiveness among students from different Egyptian universities through initiatives that are in the interest of promoting the country. The conference will result in the discovery of innovative initiatives that can be implemented in the future. Found.
Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset welcomed the students of the Egyptian universities to the University of Mansoura University, stressing that the university administration will work to carry out its responsibilities towards better education and provide the opportunity for creative young people in all fields and to highlight the positive part of our students. Building Egypt and solving its immediate and future problems. These initiatives will be presented to the executive bodies to study the feasibility of implementing them.
Dr. Ahmed Shaarawy stressed that the conference brings together the sons of the Egyptian universities, the youth of Egypt and they are an integral part of the state. There will be no building without these young people, each of them having a role and an effective role in building the nation.

Day of people entitled "Mansoura University unites people of the world"

The expatriates' administration at Mansoura University Organized a Day of People celebration for expatriates students for the 3rd year that entitled "Mansoura University unites the people of the world"

 in the Scout Camp at Olympic Village. The celebration is attended by the ambassadors, Cultural attachés and Consul of 14 countries of the Arab, African and Asian countries. In the presence of Prof. Muhammad El-Kenawy- President of Mansoura University, Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset -Vice President for Education and Students, Prof. Ashraf Sweilem -Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Prof. Zaki Zidane - Vice President for Education and Students
Also, the ambassadors, Cultural attachés and Consul of 14 countries of the Arab, African and Asian countries participated the ceremony: Dr. Mohamed Ali Marm - Yemen's ambassador in Cairo, Dr. Zuhair Saad Abbas - the consul which is charge of Cultural Affairs, Dr. Khaled bin Abdullah El-Namy - Cultural Counselor of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Muhammad Khalid Alazar - Cultural Counselor of Palestine, Dr. Mona bint Musa Zadjali - cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman, Dr. Shady - cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Jordan, Prof. Ahmed Shehhi - cultural Attaché of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates, Prof. Yossif Ahaddadh - acting ambassador of Libya, Mr. Mahmoud Arif – represents of the cultural counselor of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Prof. Ali Omar Afrah - represents of the cultural counselor of Somalia.

The Saudi Cultural Counselor visits Mansoura University

Prof. Mohammed El-Kenawy - President of Mansoura University, in the presence of Prof. Ashraf Sweilem - Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, received

Dr. Khalid Abdullah El-Namy - the cultural counselor of Saudi Arabia, and Mr. Abdullah Abdul Aziz Al-Hamad - president of educational affairs to discuss the situation of Saudi students that are studying at Mansoura University, through a ceremony of "Day of People" that is organized at Mansoura University.
Dr. Khalid Abdullah pointed out that the university offers a good education and administration. Also, the colleges offer all efforts to Saudi students.

Symposium about the studying and scholarships at American universities

It will be held at the Conference Hall at Administrative building on Wednesday, March 15 at 10.30 amThe US Consul in Alexandria, the American cultural attaché, and the charge of the studying programs and scholarships in America will attend the symposium.
