In addition, spatial analysis expertise (e.g., using geographical information systems), in particular applied to climate change impacts of energy demand is highly welcome.

The selected candidate will interact with researchers of different nationalities, and is expected to contribute to and take over responsibility for research projects. In addition, developing proposals for new research projects is expected. IIASA offers an interdisciplinary workplace, with strong ties to a world-wide network of research institutions engaged in environmental and energy research and in particular on the analysis of climate change issues.
