Calls for scientific publishing incentives for 2017

The Graduate Studies and Research Sector announces the opening of the scientific publishing incentives awards for 2017 from 15/1/2018

 to 30/9/2018, in order to facilitate the university faculty to complete the required procedures in a time.They should submit their academic data to the faculty members on the university site.

The deadline will not be extended after this deadline.

* Subject to the following conditions:

--- Scientific publishing incentives awards are submitted electronically to the site of the academic data of the university faculty.

--- The research paper must have the name of the University of Mansoura.

--- When submitting the first page of the published research, the page of the latest IF Hindex Citation of the journal should be considered.

--- The plagiarism report is also submitted for all research papers. Click here for more information

--- It is not permissible to apply for research paper more than once, and in the case of repeated progress for the same research, the award will be canceled in the case of winning

Call for short stays scientific scholarship program in France

Francophonie (AUF) and the Institute of Research for Development (IRD), offer short stays scientific scholarship program in France to benefit young Egyptian researchers (doctoral grants) registered thesis in public and private universities and Egyptian research centers.

Each scholarship will be awarded for a period of maximum 12 months during the three years of theses with three stays up to 4 months a year and will allow the winner to achieve a joint thesis, ie be registered PhD in Egypt in France to obtain a double doctoral degree. Each scholarship includes the management of transport, social security and the cost of living in France

Workshop on Electron Microscopy Applications

The Electron Microscopy Unit at Mansoura University organizes its 6th workshop on electron microscopy applications, and its scanner in the fields

of research, diagnostics, nanotechnology and industry for the university faculties and their assistants at the university, hospital and researchers at research centers and industrial companies at the national and regional level from 6 to 8 March 2018.

The end of registration is 1/3/2018.

MUIRO announces ​Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions () under Horizon 2020 Programme for the Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (RISE).

The Deadline for submission: 21 March 2018

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) is a bottom up research funding (all research areas - no thematic calls or predefined priorities) and it promotes mobility & exchange of researchers & staff. RISE Scheme promotes international and inter-sectoral collaboration through staff exchanges, sharing of knowledge and ideas from research to market (and vice-versa) for the advancement of science and the development of innovation.

A RISE proposal should include activities for the development of joint research and innovation ​and/or networking activities, organisation of workshops and conferences to facilitate sharing of knowledge, new skills acquisition and career development for research and innovation staff members. The activities could be focused on one dimension of mobility (International or inter-sectoral) or a combination of both. The R&I tasks/deliverables must be implemented through secondments of staff members with an in-built return mechanism to foster knowledge sharing and long-term collaboration.

RISE consortium must be composed of at least 3 independent organisations from 3 different countries. At least 2 of them should be from an EU Member States (MS) or Associated Countries (AC).
