Internal Medicine Hospital of Mansoura University celebrated the world day of diabetes on November 14th, 2015, under patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamad Elkenawy, president of the university. Dr. Mahmoud Yousef, the hospital director, stated that the hospital serves almost 200 diabetic patients daily. These patients receive the best medical care including all necessary lab investigations.
The hospital also provides early detection of diabetic complications through routine vascular, ophthalmic and neural examinations. Dr. Mohamed Yakout, vice director of the hospital, also gave a lecture about risk factors, signs, symptoms and complications of diabetes
