Three Egyptian Universities were only listed in QS Sustainability University Rankings 2023. Mansoura University was ranked in the second place after Cairo University. The QS ranking focuses on the social and environmental performance of sustainability in institutions of higher education, and includes 700 universities. Besides, it uses the first version of classifications that consist of factors to measure the capability of the institution to face the biggest challenges of social and environmental governance (ESG) in the world. These factors are divided into measures of environmental suitability such as, the sustainable institutions, sustainable education and sustainable researches. In addition to, there are measures of the social impacts such as, the equality, knowledge exchange, the educational impact, the capability of employment, opportunities and quality of life.
