Yesterday, Prof. Ayman Ashour- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Major General/ Hesham Amna-Minister of Local Development honored Prof. Cherif Yousef Khater- President of Mansoura University for receiving the University the third place among the best governmental Egyptian universities in patents. This event was taking place by the end of the events of the 7^thInternational Cairo Exhibition for Innovation Fair 2023. Further, it was organized under the patronage of the President/ Abdel-Fattah Elsisi- President the Republic of Egypt.

The attendees were: Dr. Yasser Refaat- Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Sakr- Chairman of the Scientific Research and Technology Academy, a number of governors and  presidents of the universities and scientific researches, and a number of scientific and public figures.

Prof. Mahmoud Saqr noted that the evaluation of the indicator was done with the participation of 90 institutions as follows: public, private, and national universities as well as Egyptian centers and research institutes. It is noteworthy that Brazil participated in the event as a guest country of honor in the exhibition this year. Besides, the strategic partner Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority STDF, and the Russian United Institute for Nuclear Sciences participated in it. The events were held during two days 13^th and 14^th February 2023 at the New Administrative Capital.
