Launching the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University Award for Best Scientific Production
Launching the Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University Award for Best Scientific Production, which is an annual award allocated by Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Association of Arab Universities, at a value of (250,000) dollars.
Nomination for the award is for the university and the award is given to the university and not to the researchers directly.
In the first phase, the award aims to enhance the role of universities in scientific production, sharing research, thought and creativity, enriching scientific life in universities with research and specialized studies, and creating an atmosphere of scientific and research competition between universities. The award is divided into six awards according to the following topics:
1. Prize for the best scientific production in scientific research, with a value of fifty thousand dollars
2. The award for the best scientific production in leadership and innovation, with a value of fifty thousand dollars
3. The award for the best university scientific production in technology and digital transformation, with a value of fifty thousand dollars
4. The award for the best joint research project between Arab universities and international universities, with a value of fifty thousand dollars
5. The award for the best scientific research that serves community development within the framework of the sustainable development goals, with a value of twenty-five thousand dollars
6. The award for the best graduation project for undergraduate students, with a value of twenty-five thousand dollars
The award deals with topics that serve the global goals of sustainable development and have scientific and research value that is sustainable and subject to development in the following topics:
The first topic: energy alternatives and renewable energy
The second topic: food and water security
The third topic: in medical sciences and public health
