Mansoura University advances 100 international position in the Times Higher Education Impact 2023
According to the British Times Higher Education Impact Ranking for the year 2023, Mansoura University succeeded in advancing 100 international positions to be in the category from 301 to 400 compared to last year 2022, according to its achievement of the United Nations goals for sustainable development.
Mansoura University was able to participate in all of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the university had a prestigious international ranking in all goals as follows:
- Ranked 40 globally in achieving the 7th goal, which is providing clean energy at reasonable prices.
- Ranked 76 globally in achieving the 9th goal, which is industry, innovation and infrastructure.
- Ranked 101-200 globally in achieving the 6th goal, which is clean water and sanitation, the 10th goal, which is reducing inequalities, the 14th goal, which is life under water, and the 15th goal, which is life on land.
- Ranked 201-300 globally in achieving both the 2nd goal, which is the complete elimination of hunger, the 13th goal, which is climate action, the 16th goal, which is peace, justice, and strong institutions, and the 17th goal, which is partnerships to achieve the goals.
- Ranked 301-400 globally in achieving both the 11th goal, which is sustainable cities and communities, and the 12th goal, which is responsible consumption and production.
- Ranked 401-600 globally in achieving both the 1st goal, which is poverty elimination, the 3rd goal, which is good health and well-being, the 5th goal, which is gender equality, and the 8th goal, which is decent work and economic growth.
- Ranked 601-800 in achieving the 4th goal, which is quality education.
It is noteworthy that achieving the goals of sustainable development is one of the important activities of Egyptian universities, similar to international universities.
