Trial operation of electronic reservation of outpatient tickets for hospitals and medical centers via the internet at Mansoura University

Mansoura University announced today the trial operation of an electronic system for booking outpatient tickets for hospitals and medical centers via the internet.

Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, said that operating electronic reservations for outpatient clinics aims to achieve digital transformation of all services provided to citizens in accordance with the state's strategy to achieve sustainable development for Egypt's vision 2030. He added that this comes within the university's efforts to raise the level of quality of medical service for all citizens without discrimination and facilitate access to it through the digitization of these services, including the system for booking tickets for outpatient clinics in hospitals and medical centers in coordination with Prof. Ashraf Shoma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Shaarawy Kamal Executive Director of Hospitals and Medical Centers and Directors of University Hospitals. Intlaq Company for Communications and Information Technology at the university has been assigned to implement and follow up a digital application for reservation and follow-up, as well as rehabilitating hospitals with the necessary electronic devices to facilitate the patient’s entry process to ensure the organization of patients’ entry to hospital clinics, And medical centers, to reduce the burden on visitors without crowding the ticket offices, and the reservation process will be done electronically, and the patient will receive a text message on the mobile phone with the days and dates of the examination and the procedures to be taken for examination in hospital clinics and medical centers, provided that the electronic reservation will be activated on Saturday ,August 19, 2023
