26th International Conference
The Faculty of Commerce at Mansoura University- Egypt is holding its 26th international conference on 16-17 April, 2016 in Sharm El-sheikh. The theme of this year's meeting is the University and Social Transition (The role of universities in Social, Economic and Political Development). This conference spots light on the role of university stemming from its social and environmental responsibilities, in determining the challenges and opportunities that face de facto and de jure social transition.
Conference Themes
Researchers from around the Globe are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers to the TUST, which could be theoretical and/or empirical using a wide variety of research methodologies. Also research papers in early stages are welcome. For researchers in the fields of Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Politics, Law and Education, this conference represents an excellent opportunity to present your papers, to get engaged with cutting edge research and to share your experience and insights in issues relating to social transition. Papers are welcome in all areas, which include the following:
Challenges and opportunities facing direct and indirect investments in emerging economies and risk reduction tools.
Challenges and opportunities facing the development of Small and Medium Sized enterprises (SMEs) in emerging economies.
Social responsibility of business organizations and corporate citizenship.
Corporate governance.
Women support mechanisms as an effective economic factor in social transition.
Educational development mechanisms for the purpose of social, economic and political transition.
Human resources in emerging economies- Are they construction or destruction factor?
Fraud combat mechanisms and local government systems.
Crisis management.
Submission of Manuscript
English is the official language of the conference, however papers in Arabic language are welcome and special sessions will be held for them. Author(s) can submit their paper as an e-mail attachment to: commac@ mans.edu.eg
The e-mailed abstract (250 words) should be in Microsoft Word doc. Format, including title, author(s) and affiliation(s), 4-6 key words. Abstracts must clearly define the objectives, methodology and results (for complete research papers). The corresponding author identified will be notified of the conference Panel decision about acceptance status.

Keynote Speakers
- H.E. Prof. Dr. Reda Abdelsalam- The governor of Sharqia Province, A.R.E and the Professor of Law at the faculty of Law- Mansoura University. He competently employed his academic background in using out of the box solutions to the problems in Sharqia.
- Prof. Dr. Charles O'Neill- an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the British University in Egypt and a Small Business Consultant and Trainer at Fort Hare University in South Africa and Guest Lecturer in Entrepreneurship at The Vlerick School of Management, University of Gent, Belgium as well as the University of Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
- Dr. Maria Sottimano- a Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at the British University in Egypt. Dr Sottimano is a Senior Fellow of the Centre for Syrian Studies, University of St Andrews (UK), and was a founding member of SeSAMO, Italian Society for Middle East Studies.

Publication Opportunity
Selected quality papers may have opportunities for publication in international peer reviewed journals if opted by the contributors.
