The 5th annual Egypt's Science Month is an initiative to hold an annual celebration of science in Egypt under the auspices of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT),

 which aims to raise the role of science and its impact on the advancement of society and the progress of the country and universities.

Universities, research institutions, as well as civil society organizations, NGOs, companies, and student associations, are invited to participate by organizing new activities and events during 24 February to 31 March 2018.

The participating shall organize the related activities of one of the following two types:

1-The activity of scientific culture (for adults, young people, children)

2-The activity is for researchers, graduate students, school students and universities, and entrepreneurs, etc.

3- Events on the Internet: social followers and websites (YouTube – Facebook- etc.)

4-Activities of the simplification of science in different places such as public libraries and cultural centers - etc.
