1. Hubert Humphrey Program for Professionals

The Fulbright Commission in Egypt is pleased to announce the annual competition for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program.

This one-year Fellowship program is offered to young and mid-career professionals who have a proven track record of leadership, a public service commitment, and the capacity to benefit from a program of independent non-degree study at a leading U.S. university, as well as a wide variety of professional development activities, including conducting independent projects, participating in an internship or a professional affiliation, meetings and consultations with U.S. faculty or experts, field trips, and special seminars.

2. Fulbright Scholar Program for Post-Doctoral Research

Provides opportunities for Egyptian post-doctoral faculty members in all fields to conduct research at American institutions.
Grant duration: three to nine months.

3. Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant Program

The Fulbright Commission invites applications for the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program.
The FLTA program provides early career teachers of English as a Foreign Language, or of related fields such as American Studies, or English/American Literature, the opportunity to refine their teaching skills, increase their English language proficiency and broaden their knowledge of the society and culture of the United States.
FLTAs from Egypt assist in the teaching of Arabic at select U.S. universities during their nine-month non-degree grant beginning in August/September 2019.
