Intellectual property in Egypt
The Intellectual Property Office and the Patent Mansoura University invites all the researchers to participate in the general course on intellectual property in Egypt through distance education
organized by the Patent Office of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology in collaboration with the International Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO),
Registration will be from January the 10th until March the 6th, 2017 and will begin session from 7 March till 26 April 2017.
This course provides the basic principles of intellectual property law, according to the Egyptian Intellectual Property Protection No. 82/2002, which deals with industrial property and literary property include:
Industrial property (patents and trademarks, geographical indications, industrial designs, rights PvP utility models)
Literary property (copyright and neighboring rights)
And so the researcher can learn how to protect his inventions and writings in all scientific, literary and industrial fields without prejudice to the rights of others, and after passing the final exam successfully, the researcher will receive a certificate approved by the WIPO and the Patent Office of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology
